1. Who we are and what we do

This class contains information on how ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Services Limited (UPSL) was set up, including its legal status and contact details.

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Services Limited (UPSL) is a limited company, which is a fully owned subsidiary of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ.

UPSL was formed in 2006. The principal activity of UPSL is to hold the contract with NHS England for the provision of personal dental services delivered through the Dental academy. UPSL doesn't employ any staff directly. The UPSL board meets on an exceptional basis and conducts its business primarily by correspondence.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ, UPSL Board members are taken from University staff. They are:

2. What we spend and how we spend it

This class contains financial information relating to income and expenditure, procurement, contracts and financial audit.

3. What our priorities are and how we're doing

This class contains information from the last 3 years relating to the University's strategies and plans, performance indicators, audits, inspections and reviews.

4. How we make decisions

This class contains information on how the organisation makes decisions.

 

Paper copies of the minutes of UPSL Board Meetings and of the Resolutions of the Board as submitted to Companies House are available from the UPSL Company Secretary at paul.mould@port.ac.uk.

These minutes won't include any confidential items of business.

5. Our policies and procedures

This class contains details of written protocols, policies and procedures for delivering UPSL services and responsibilities.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the University, UPSL is bound by University policies on matters such as complaints management, data protection and records management.

Details of these policies are available in sections 5.10–5.12 of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï publications scheme.

6. Lists and registers

UPSL doesn't hold, and isn't required to hold, any information in publicly available registers.

7. The services we offer

This class contains details of services offered by UPSL, including leaflets, guidance and newsletters. This is an extension of the first section, "Who we are and what we do".
