The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï American Football team compete in the Premier South league of BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport), one level off the top National Premier league.
American Football is one of our 'focus sports' here at the ºÚÁϳԹÏ, and we are actively recruiting prospective students and players to join the club. Our 'focus sports' get priority training sessions, strength and conditioning support, performance analysis, sports psychology, and access to physiotherapy. We have top class facilities, highly qualified and experienced coaches, and there is a pathway into local adult football with community club ºÚÁϳԹÏDreadnaughts.
The recruitment event is a chance for prospective players to meet the team, coaches, have a practical training session, and hear about all the opportunities there are at the ºÚÁϳԹÏ. The event will include:
4pm - 4.30pm: Sports Talk (at Ravelin sports centre taching room)
4.30pm - 6pm: Practical session (at HMS Temeraire, Burnaby Road, a 2 minute walk from Ravelin Sports Centre)
6pm - 6.30pm: Q&A with players and coaches
Please wear appropriate sports kit and footwear suitable for a 3G pitch (no trainers - moulded or metal studs/boots only), and bring refreshments. We have changing rooms and showers on site which you are welcome to use.
