 is the Director of EMEA Game Partnerships at Google

 

Tony is a dynamic leader with a passion for commercial growth, leadership, and enhancing consumer experiences. As Director of EMEA Game Partnerships at Google, he leads partnerships and drives growth across the region. A graduate of the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (Class of 2002), Tony began his career as a Development Engineer at Goodman’s before advancing to Technical Project Manager at Kenwood.

Before joining Google, Tony spent 19 years at PlayStation in key leadership roles, including Sr Director of Business Management & Transformation. He played a pivotal role in operational strategy, product planning, business development, and service innovation, co-founding PlayStation Plus. He also spearheaded major partnerships with Netflix, Amazon, and top gaming studios, as well as leading Sony’s acquisition of Hawk-Eye, introducing goal-line technology to sports.

Beyond his corporate role, Tony is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board for the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Student Union Trading Company. Previously, he served as a Committee Member for The King’s Trust, supporting fundraising in digital and gaming. Passionate about mentoring, he actively nurtures young talent, aligning with his commitment to fostering innovation and leadership in the next generation.
