

Dr Stavros Shiaeles
Summary
Dr. Stavros Shiaeles is an Associate Professor in Cybersecurity and Co-Director of the PAIDS Centre at the ºÚÁϳԹÏ. He has authored over 130 publications, which have garnered more than 2,500 citations, reflecting his significant contributions to the field.
Over the past five years, Dr. Shiaeles has successfully secured external funding totaling approximately €18 million through various EU Horizon 2020 collaborative research grants in cybersecurity. Currently, he is the Principal Investigator for the Horizon XTRUST-6G collaborative research project for the ºÚÁϳԹÏ's Cybersecurity team, which has a budget of €8 million. These projects have focused on advancing cybersecurity measures, including the development of intelligent cyber-defense frameworks and innovative intrusion prevention systems.
