Biography

I have been teaching English language and linguistics for 15 years including seven in South Korea. Before moving to ºÚÁϳԹÏI was teaching at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University and I am interested in corpus linguistics, vocabulary studies and new World Englishes especially Asian Englishes. I have recently been exploring connections between formulaic language and natural selection and I am working on a team project to explore the language of science forums; I am happy to consider applications from research students in any of these or other related areas.
