Summary

I'm a senior lecturer in psychology, with expertise in social psychology, judgement and decision making and an interest in forensic psychology.

Biography

I came to the UK in 2010 to study psychology at the University of Essex, where I graduated from in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) Psychology. I was fortunate enough to be awarded an ESRC 1+3 scholarship, which allowed me to continue my studies at the University of Essex, where I completed an MSc Research Methods in Psychology (2014) and a PhD in Psychology (2017). 

After 10 months of working as a Senior Research Officer at the University of Essex, I joined the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï in June 2018 as a Lecturer in Psychology. 

Research interests

I am a member of the  within the School of Psychology, Sport and Health Sciences. My research interests include social psychology (in particular impression formation and judgement and decision making), forensic psychology (in particular perceptions of victims and offenders based on appearance) and applied judgement and decision making. 

I am currently the REF Lead for UoA4 (Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience), which is situated within our School.

Teaching responsibilities

I currently teach on a variety of topics, on modules such as Exploring Psychology, Social and Developmental Psychology and Quantitative Data Analysis. I also supervise final year project students from both BSc Psychology and BSc Forensic Psychology.

I am the module coordinator for Quantitative Data Analysis, a Level 5, 20-credits module.
